Suffolk Assizes. John Chinery, John Wanham, and Lovet James Howard, for breaking into the waggon warehouse of Mrs. Boldero, of Drinkstone, and stealing two pieces of cloth and other articles, from off the waggon; were all capitally convicted, and sentence of death recorded. William Nice, an accomplice with Chinery and Wanham; and Robert Gissing, for stealing a quantity of beans, the property of the executors of Martha Webb, of Wenhaston, to be transported for 7 years. Cambridge Chronicle, 13 Aug 1824. -------------------------------------------------- On Monday last, Bennett Bantock, William Nice, John Allen, and John Carlo, were removed from our Gaol to the hulks at Portsmouth, in order to be transported, the former for 14 years and the 3 latter for 7. Bury and Norwich Post, 25 Aug 1824.
