See for details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Police Reports. Saturday August 4. Hannah Noon, was brought up upon warrants, charged by Ann Durkins, with having committed a violent assault of her person. Ann's husband is out of town, and Hannah being a feme sole, having been upon intimate terms with her, wished to have a lark for the night; the sober Ann wished to remain at home, and declined. Hannah, who is a tolerable good weight, took Ann by her flowing locks, and pulled her into the street. By the appearance of Hannah's nose, which had lost a little of its bark, she must have had a slight scratch; be that as it may, she was obliged to produce two of her friends as a pledge for her future good behaviour.
