9/11/1839 Staffordshire Gazette and County Standard Staffordshire, England: Jno. Norcup alias Mountford, for stealing one horse colt, the property of Emma Edwards, at Llany Blodwell, in the county of Salop. John was 45 years old on arrival, 5'3" tall, fresh complexion, dark brown hair, black whiskers, grey eyes, illiterate, scar under right eye. Married. Native Place: Nutton Heath. 6/10/1846: TOL 17/8/1847: Recommended for a CP 30/1/1849: CP approved. 13/10/1852: Free Certificate. 24/10/1866: An Elector in the District of Selby.
