Hull Advertiser and Exchange Gazette Yorkshire, England 11 Jul 1795: James Clegg, of Scriven-with-Tentergate, flaxdresser, and Andrew North, of Knaresbrough, flaxdresser, charged upon the oath of John Taylor, of Scriven aforesiad, flaxdresser, upon suspicion of having in the evening of the 10th of January, 1794, maliciously and wilfully set fire to a certain heckling-shop belonging to the said John Taylor, situate in Scriven aforesaid. Hull Advertiser and Exchange Gazette Yorkshire, England 1 Aug 1795 Andrew North for arson. No ship found for James Clegg. Andrew was pardoned and received a grant of land at Richmond, NSW. New South Wales, Census and Population Books, 1811-1825 for New South Wales Land and Stock, 1819: Andrew had 14 acres, 7 acres cleared, and 7 acres remained - 1 horse, 5 horned cattle 7 sheep, 2 hogs, 5 bushels of wheat, 2 bushels of maize. 14/1/1823: Andrew North died at Richmond, NSW.
