Charles Northfield was transported for "Stealing a £10 Note from the person". Charles's occupation was a chair maker, he later was listed as a cabinet maker. Previous convictions: once on suspicion of picking pockets, 3 mos. as a vagrant. Charles was 21 years old on arrival, he was born in Marylebone and his occupation was a 'Chair maker', he was 5' 6" tall, brown eyes, reddish brown hair, single. 1833-1835 Musters: Public Works 7/7/1846: TOL 31/1/1847: Permission to Marry Hannah/Anna Watson (Woodbridge 1843). 6/4/1847: Married in the district of St George, Tasmania - he was 32 and a cabinet maker she was 24. 28/5/1847: Charles died at Hobart - he had a TOL. 11/8/1847: Hannah married William Hood (Norfolk 1835), also a cabinet maker, aged 33, she was listed as 24 and a widow. They married in the same church in the district of St George.
