Digitised Indent of Admiral Barrington. Joseph Notting, tried at Justice Hall, Old Bailey, Middlesex, 25 Feb 1789, 7 years. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tried at the Old Bailey, 25 Feb 1789. 228. JOSEPH NOTTING was indicted for stealing, on the 16th of February , a pair of corderoy breeches, value 9 s. the property of James Brown . The prisoner was seen taking down the breeches from the prosecutor's door, and was taken directly; the breeches were found in a yard through which he had ran. GUILTY . Transported for seven years . Tried by the second Middlesex Jury before Mr. RECORDER.
