Convict Notes
On Saturday the 17th instant the assizes ended at Dorchester, when the four following prisoners reserved sentence of death, viz. John Osmond, for stealing seven wether sheep, the property of Thomas Coggan; John Hodder, for maliciously shooting at William Bridie; James Dodd, for breaking open the house of George Gould, Esq; at Fleet and John Oat, for killing sheep, with intent to take the carcase, the property of John ?. They are all since reprieved. Reading Mercury, 2 April 1787.
