The Convict Indentures state that Eliza O'Brien was 18 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of Tipperary She was a Kitchen maid and a children's maid. Mary was convicted of stealing clothes at Queen's County on 23 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had one prior convictions and served 14 days.
