The Convict Indentures state that Eliza O'Brien was 18 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of Tipperary She was a Kitchen maid and a children's maid. Mary was convicted of stealing clothes at Queen's County on 23 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had one prior convictions and served 14 days. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 10 3/4 inches; complexion dark ruddy and freckled; hair black and eyes chestnut. Transport number 151. Prisoner number 150-38.
