In 1809 George committed suicide in a rash act, whilst suffering from a temporary financial embarrassment. This devastating act, left Mary in a terrible situation, with quite a large, very young family. I have been unable to locate Mary in the 1828 census. However, several of the children, now adults, are recorded.
