The following prisoners were tried, and received sentence of death;… George Offer, Robert Rose, and Mark Woodroffe, for a burglary and robbery in the house of John Drew at Horton; ... Of the ten prisoners who received sentence of death at our assizes, the whole have been reprieved, excepting John Lawes, convicted of burglary, who is left for execution on Tuesday the 4th of August.
