Committed. John Lucas and Henry Offer, charged with stealing one spade, three fowls, one duck and a quantity of apples the property of William Goddard at Westbury.  Hampshire Advertiser, 30 Dec 1848. Wilts Quarter Sessions.  and Henry Offer, for stealing fowls and a duck, at Westbury, were transported for 7 years.  Devizes and Wiltshire Gazette, 11 Jan 1849. During the week the following transports have been removed from the County Gaol to Millbank Prison, London: : Thomas Johnson, Thomas Buckland, Luke Taylor, Geo. Murphy, Thomas White, Broom Slade, and Henry Offer. Salisbury Journal, 3 Mar 1849. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date of death is 24/8/1913.

Henry was convicted for stealing a spade, a sack, 3 fowls, 1 duck and apples and transported to Australia. Father John or James Offer Mother Charlotte Henry went to work at Australind for M.W. Clifton. He acquired land there and married Catherine Touhy. 17 Jul 1854: Married Catherine May Touhy, Bunbury, Western Australia Catherine May Touhy b 1833 Ireland - father Edward Touhy. Catherine arrived per ‘Travancore in the early 1850’s. Catherine died 12 May 1915. Henry Offer and Catherine May Touhy children as follows: Ellen Offer b 1855 d 1927 John Offer b 1857 d 1911 Edward Offer b 12 jul 1859 d 31 jul 1917 Henry Offer b 1861 d 1951 Jane Offer b 1863 d 1937 Charles Offer b 1866 d 1939 Mary Offer b 1868 d 1952 Ann Offer b 1870 d 1949 Thomas Offer b 1872 d 1956 Elizabeth Offer b 1874
