Robert Oliver of St. Agnes, lab., indicted for taking timber, property of Edward Tregoning and his partners in East Wheal Music mine: transported for seven years. Robert was 51 years old on arrival in VDL, and his occupation was a Carpenter/Joiner". Robert was married with 9 children - wife Frances at native place - Newland. Robert had grey eyes, dark brown/grey hair, 5'9" tall, stout made, slightly pockpitted. Robert had been transported in 1826 for stealing potatoes and served 4 years and 4 months on board the hulk 'Leviathan'. 30/3/1839: a patient at the Colonial Hospital - charged with stealing under the value of £5 - to be removed to Port Arthur with hard labour and not to be reassigned. 7/10/1839: Robert died at the Colonial Hospital at Port Arthur.
