His Real Name is Joseph Crippin, when he was caught he used the name James Osborne, when he got his ticket of leave his family came out to join him also using the last name Osborne, On the ship Hastings, Eliza ( née Bryant ) Crippin alias Osborne, Robert Crippin Osborne son from first marriage, children of Joseph & Eliza : Beulah Emily, Lola, Martha, Herbert, Eliza & has two more children in Australia Clara & Celia
