Noah was 19 years old, single, 5'2 3/4" tall, brown hair, blue eyes, sallow complexion, middling stout, front tooth lost, stutters slightly. 1867: Married Margaret Oakes at Guildford WA. Listed as Oslar. They had 4 children: William Henry 1868-1950 (died at Northam), John 1870, Stillborn 1874, Mary Ann 1876. 4/4/1868: Perth Gaz. Take Note - I will not be answerable for any debts contracted by my wife Margaret, having left me of her own accord. Noah Ostler, Northam. 11/6/1884: Police Gazette, WA. Newcastle- On the 31st ult., from the premises of George Wilkerson - 1 shovel with handle painted black, the property of and identifiable by George Wilkerson - Suspicion attaches to Noal Ostler, exp., late 6948 (6948 was his convict no.) 1901: Margaret Hostler died at the age of 62. She was born in Wicklow, Ireland. 1919: Noah died at Northam WA., under Hostler.
