NSW BDM 990/1849 V1849990 34B - aged 41 The SMH, Saturday, 5 May 1849, Page 2, Parramatta - His skeleton was found. An inquest was held last Thursday and the remains were those of William, a boatbuilder, well known at Kissing Point. Constable William Bragg searched the remains and found a Conditional Pardon, Temperance Ticket, etc; Oxenham had been missing 3 months and of weak intellect, and in the habit of wandering about.Matthew Lowe, one of the jury, recognised the trousers, and boots on the deceased, who had worked for him shortly before. He had bright colour hair. There being no evidence to show the cause of death.
