Tried and convicted of theft on 5th March 1803 at Worcester Assizes, sentenced to 7 years transportation. Left England on 2nd January 1804. Ship:- the 'Experiment I' sailed with 2 male and 136 female convicts on board of which 6 females died during the voyage. Arrived on 12th June 1804. Mary married Irish convict John Lyons ('Atlas' 1802) at Wilberforce, on 21st March 1811. They had 7 children between 1804-1818. The family can be located on The 1828 census, at Wilberforce, where John is a landholder with 79 acres, 45 cleared, 30 cultivated and 2 horses and 16 cattle. They had 4 children living at home at this stage. Mary and John both died in 1829 at Wilberforce.
