Summer Assizes. At Hereford Assizes, ... and ... John Painter, and Richmond Moore, for house-breaking. severally received sentence of death, but were, all reprieved before the Judges left town.  (Painter and Moore are natives of Tewkesbury, and had been for many years the terror of the neighbourhood in which they resided.) New Times, 11 Aug 1820.

Family history says John was possibly born in Wales rather than Tewkesbury.

Married Susannah Wainwright. Presumed buried in or near Hoskinstown NSW.
