John Palmer was 29 years old on arrival - his native place was: Norfolk. So born C1811 but on the Convict Death Regisgter he would have been born C1800. John could read, was Protestant, Married, 5'7¾" tall, dark sallow complexion, brown hair, dark hazel eyes, lost two front upper teeth, small scar over inner corner of left eyebrow, scar under right side of chin, JP back of left hand, scar on left knee. 8/4/1841: Convict Death Register - John Palmer died, aged 40, at the general hospital, Sydney. Big difference in age 'as usual'.
