Probably born Ipswich, Suffolk, UK. Convicted 28 June 1820 (Old Bailey Proceedings Online ref t18200628-85). After arriving NSW, tried to escape and was sent to Port Macquarie (NSW & Tasmania Australia Convict Musters 1806-1849). Obtained cert of freedom July 1827 ("The Monitor" published Sydney 1826-1828). Possibly returned to the UK.
