George had stolen a pair of shoes, valued three shillings, belonging to Robert Branch. On 12 August 1820, George married Margaret Sullivan at St Philips Church Sydney. Margaret was the daughter of William Sullivan & Mary Hayes.William was in the Army Corps in Sydney but was transferred to India where he was accused of harbouring stolen goods & the family returned to NSW with William, a convict. By 1828,the Parker family included:George b 1821 William b 1822, Mary Ann b 1825, Samuel b 1827.

George was a plasterer who married Margaret Sullivan in 1820. He was convicted for stealing shoes worth three shillings at the age of 18.
