Thomas was 16 years old and was born in Manchester. He had been tried before; 6 months for larceny at Manchester and 12 months for larceny also at Manchester. Thomas was 5'2 12/" tall, blue eyes, brown hair, Father lives at Cheapside, Birmingham and was a gardener. 1830-33 Musters: Public Works. 1835 Muster: Assigned to Mr Brittain. 22/12/1823: Disobeying orders, 25 lashes. 17/9/1825: Took 12/- from his Master for his own use - sent to Macquarie Island for 2 years. 17/9/1827: Neglect of duty etc., until 15/3/1833: Drunk,25 lashes was the last entry on his conduct record. 21/12/1835: COF 22/10/1851: Was a passenger to Geelong per Albion.
