Ann, from Manchester, had stolen money from a Mr Ogden. Government sent a letter to Lancaster Castle for the women to leave in late February 1810 and to be on ship at Woolwich by the 23rd of the month at the latest. Ann married free man John Brackfield (ship- Hillsborough) at Parramatta St Johns in March 1811. John died in November 1824. Less than a year later in 1825, Ann, now aged 51, married free man Isaac Nelson (ship- Albemarle) at St Lukes, Liverpool. They farmed at 'Ulverstone' in Lower Minto, close to the Landsdowne Bridge. She was once again widowed in 1833 upon Isaac's death and Ann herself passed away in July 1839, she was buried at St Anne's, Kissing Point, have died in the asylum, registered a lunatic, aged 66.
