Peter was 45 years old on arrival and was transported for 'Stealing wood and trees'. Peter was 5'11" tall, Red hair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, lost two front teeth in upper jaw. Peter was married with 8 children, wife Elizabeth at his native place of Harbington. 5/4/1842: was a watchman at a lumber yard - absent from his station. 28/6/1847: Married Frances McAuley (Phoebe 1844)at Hobart. Now listed as a Blacksmith. 10/7/1852: Peter died aged 64 at Hobart, wife Frances was the informant and he was still a Blacksmith.

This was Peter Parrots second time as a convict. He was sent to Bermuda in 1823 for 7 years for "harbouring a felon". He lived in Harpenden in the UK where I still live. He was my ancestor.
