Convicts received on board the Bencoolen at Cove of Cork in Ireland Patrick Murray, aged 24; where and when tried, October 1818, Dublin; crime, felony of cloth; term of transportation, 7 years. 16/9/1819: Arrived VDL per 'Admiral Cockburn' 19/10/1825: COF 15/11/1832: Tried at the Supreme Court - Larceny - 12 months imprisonment with hard labour. 8/4/1834 Colonial Times, Hobart: SUPREME COURT.-CRIMINAL SIDE. HOBART TOWN, TUESDAY, APRIL 1. J Before Mr. Justice Montagu. On the opening of the Court this morning, Patrick Murray was placed at the bar, and pleaded guilty to an information, charging him with stealing, from the dwelling-house of Mr. Mercer Ludgater, articles to the amount of £5. - no outcome found. 1842: TOL March 1846: Recommended for a CP 29/7/1847: CP Afterwards tried and convicted - transportation for life.
