Londonderry Assizes. David Patterson, for horse-stealing. Guilty; his Lordship sentenced him to be hanged on the 6th of October next, but promised to recommend that the sentence should commuted transportation for life. Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 8 Aug 1825.
