21/7/1837 Stamford Mercury Lincolnshire, England: Crown Court Beast-stealing at Spalding Common. David Peach, aged 30, was indicted for stealing two oxen, the property of Mr. Thos. Congreve, farmer, of Spalding Common, on the 11th. David was married with 1 child. 18/4/1840: The Cornwall Chronicle, Launceston: QUARTER SESSIONS. Before P. A. Mulgrave, Esq., and a Military Jury. THURSDAY, APRIL 9. David Peach was indicted for stealing one sheep, the property of Mr. Ashburner ; and Stephen Stratford, Robert Clare, and William Fox, stood charged with receiving he same, well knowing it to have been stolen. Peach was found guilty, and sentenced to seven years hard labour in chains at Port Arthur. The three other prisoners were acquitted, after a suitable admonition to be more careful for the future in selecting their acquaintenances. 17/10/1846 Launceston Examiner: MIDLAND AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION. SHEEP SHEARING. For the best shearing the prizes were awarded as follows :-The first, £2, to David Peach. 18/7/1851: CP After receiving his Conditional Pardon there was no further mention of David Peach, he was not listed on the Colonial Family Database, or in the departures or deaths on LincTas. In the Newspapers the next reference to David Peach was in the 1880's in Victoria - did not look like it was related to this man.
