Colonial Secretary Papers: PEARCE, Benjamin. Per "Prince of Orange", 1821 1821 Sep 8: Plasterer. On list of all persons victualled from H.M. Magazines (Reel 6016; 4/5781 p.91) 1823 Jul 26: Bricklayer & plasterer in Plaisterers Gang. Petition applying for free passage for wife Elizabeth & sons (Fiche 3287; 4/1112.1A pp.283-6) Benjamin spent some time at the Westernport Settlement (now the site of Corinella, Vic). He arrived there per ‘Lucy Anne’ and departed per ‘Isabella’(2) 1828 Census: Plasterer, employed by C S Mcleay of Elizabeth St. 1/12/1833: TOL Windsor – this was cancelled for ‘neglect of muster’. 14/7/1836: Benjamin died at Wellington, NSW from inflammation of the kidneys.
