Hannah Peasley was tried for stealing a black silk cloak and other items on 29 March 1787 at Taunton, Somerset. In August 1790 - Just weeks after arriving at Sydney Cove Hannah was sent to Norfolk Island with 193 other convicts. In June 1794 she is recorded as being on Norfolk Island, unmarried and childless and in Late 1796 she is still on Norfolk Island. She either died or left the Island before 1801, the former is more likely as she was 61 at the time of her conviction
