Moreton Bay Records. Thos Pendergast, tried at Limerick City, 23 July 1825, for Horse stealing, Life. Trade, Herd. Colonial Conviction: Gen. Sessions, Campbell Town, 15 Ma7 1827, Runaway and robbery, 3 years. Returned to Sydney, 16 Jan 1831. Sentenced to 6 months in addition to his Col. Sentence, 12 Jan 1828. Run 23 Oct 1827, Ret 12 Jan 1828. Run 13 Dec?. Ret 18 Dec? 1828. Description: Thos Pendergast, native place, Limerick, age 22, 5 ft 6 ¾ Sallow comp, brown hair, hazle eyes. Catholic.

Absconded prisoners. 1 Pentergrast Thomas, Mangles (4),21, Limerick, 5 feet 6 and 3 quarters, hazle eyes, light brown hair, sallow freckled comp from Byrne’s Appin Road Party, charged with stealing a pick axe. Sydney Gazette, 17 Jun 1826.
