Murdered Prudence Hughes in Sedgley 24th Sept 1844. Struck her multiple times while she was 6 months pregnant, she haemorrhage and bled to death in the Jolly Crispin Pub. https://www.longpull.co.uk/HBCPdownloads/Prudence Hughes.pdf The article contains a false death report for Joseph Penn who claims he died in 1846 when in fact he died in Salt Water River Hospital on the Tasman peninsular aged 62 from dementia.
