31/5/1839 Granted Freedom 17/11/1839 Arrived in Port Phillip Bay aboard the Brig Brazil Packet. 14/1/1851: Married Ellen Close at St James Church Melbourne VIC. They had 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls. 12/10/1906: Robert Peters died at Holbrook, NSW, aged 87 and was buried at Holbrook Cemetery. 09/11/1907 Wife Elen died at Holbrook, NSW, aged 78 and was buried with her husband Robert at Holbrook Cemetery.
