From the New South Wales Government Gazette 28th March 1851 - THE Tickets of Leave of the undermentioned Prisoners of the Crown, have been cancelled for the reasons stated opposite their respective names :- William Pettigrove, Randolph, absconding from his hired service; Darling Downs Bench.

Epiphany Sessions. William Pettigrove, 20, for breaking open the dwelling-house of Robert Jenkins, at St. George's, and stealing two coats and other articles, seven years’ transportation.   Cheltenham Journal, 11 Jan 1847. Transports.—The following transports were on Tuesday last removed from the Gloucester County Gaol  to Millbank :—Henry Kitchen, Henry Mason, Thomas Kitchen, John Jones, William Pettigrove, James Caines, and Samuel Roberts. Gloucester Journal, 27 March 1847.
