Cornwall Assizes. Francis Dennis, 14, and Joseph Philips, 13, were tried an indictment charging with having broken into the dwelling-house of John Harris in the parish of St. Allen, near Truro, on the morning of the 22nd of January last.—Guilty ; sentence of death recorded. North Devon Journal, 8 April 1830.
