Sampson Phillips, Sarah Phillips, Dorothy Phillips, Ann Phillips, and Elizabeth Edge, for breaking into the dwelling house of Mary Grace Wilshaw, and stealing divers articles of wearing apparel and other articles, the property of the said Mary Grace Wilshaw. Staffordshire Advertiser, 6 April 1822. Sarah Phillips, Sampson Phillips. & Dorothy Phillips, for felony at Warslow; were sentenced to be transported for seven years; Ann Phillips (aged 17) an accomplice in the felony at Warslow, to be imprisoned two years ; Eliz. Edge, also charged an accomplice, was discharged proclamation. Staffordshire Advertiser, 3 Aug 1822.
