Digitised Indent of ship Matilda. William Pidd, tried at Q Sessions, Spalding, Lincoln, 18 July 1788, seven years. -------------------------------------------------------------- Spalding sessions, held by adjournment at the town-hall there, on Friday last, the following prisoners were tried, viz. William Pidd, of Weston, charged by Francis Braintby, of Spalding, with feloniously and carrying away one guinea, one half guinea, one pair of pumps, one pair of pron stockings and one blue. Committed by the Rev. George Maclellan, clerk, to be transported for 7 years, Stamford Mercury, 25 July 1788.
