Convicted of unlawful dispensing/disposing naval stores. Married Mary Ann Igglesden at St David's Cathedral, Hobart, on the 18th February 1833 - 8 children born in Tasmania. Conditional Pardon received on the 10th January 1837, and Full Pardon on 10th August 1841. Died aged 86 on the 4th September 1886 at the residence of his son the celebrated painter, William Charles Piguenit, Saintonge, Hunter's Hill, Sydney, NSW.
