James Pilgrim was 23 years old on arrival, he was illiterate, protestant, single, and his native place was Suffolk. James was 5'3ΒΌ" tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair, dark grey eyes, Half moon and seven stars on upper and L James on lower right arm, J.P.B. back of right hand, G on upper left arm, J back of fore, P back of middle, and B back of third fingers of left hand, burnt scar on left shin. 1843: TOL Queanbeyan 5/5/1849: COF 1851: Married Mary A Rhodes at Berrima. 1851: Robert born. 2/11/1869 Sydney Morning Herald: NOTICE.-This is to Certify, that I, ELIZABETH PILGRIM, not having heard from my Husband, JAMES PILGRIM, for eleven years, intend to get married in one month from this date. ELIZABETH PILGRIM. November 2nd.
