James Pilgrim was 23 years old on arrival, he was illiterate, protestant, single, and his native place was Suffolk.
James was 5’3¼” tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair, dark grey eyes, Half moon and seven stars on upper and L James on lower right arm, J.P.B. back of right hand, G on upper left arm, J back of fore, P back of middle, and B back of third fingers of left hand, burnt scar on left shin.
