Prisoner discharged of H M Gaol, week ending 25 Oct 1871 & 21 Oct 1871. Squire Pinder, per Layton 4, tried at Hobart on 16 Oct 1871 for Idle & disorderly for 7 days, native of Yorkshire, 53 years, 5 feet 4 inches, brown hair, C.P., lost fore joint 2nd finger on left. Tasmania Police Gazette, 27 Oct 1871, p173.
