Married Susannah Chamberlain widow of George Marriott 30 March 1873 in Trinity Congregational church Perth Western Australia. drove the first train from Perth to Fremantle. Lived and worked as an engine driver in Northampton W.A. till his death in 1928 in "Sunset Men's Home" Nedlands. buried in Karrakatta cemetery Western Australia.
