On Saturday, (by the Rev. S.E. Hopkinson and the Rev. Wm. James Podam, charged with stealing ten sheep from Mr. Ambrose Johnson, farmer, of Thurlby. Stamford Mercury, 1 Dec 1820.  The following convicts under sentence of transportation were removed on Wednesday the 14th last, from Lincoln Castle to the hulks at Sheerness, viz. Wm; King, Grantham Giddy, and James Podam, for their natural lives; John Green, Wm. Handford, John Handford, William Hames, John Staniforth, Wm. Lowt*u, Thomas Hodgson, Jos. Grantham, and Wm.
