Joseph Polden was transported for "Receiving a £10 note and 16 £5 notes, the monies of Elizabeth Clarke. 15/6/1828: Married Eliza Polley in England, they had 2 children, twins, Rosina and Charles. Eliza and the children came to NSW in 1841 and lived at 498 Kent Street, Sydney. Eliza died in 1875 at Mudgee. They also had 3 more children born in NSW. 1840: TOL 2/3/1841: COF 1870: Joseph died at Mudgee.
