Louisa, Surgeon’s Journal. ADM 101/45/6/11827 Folios 21-22: case no 12, Mary Pollen, aged 26, convict, taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, syphilis, had two painful phlegmonous tumors on the right leg over the [gastronemii?] and one on the outside of the thigh; put on sick list 20 October 1827, discharged 24 November 1827 cured.
