Place of origin: London, Middlesex Trial - 15 April 1830. Offence; Stealing 60 yards Calico Status; Single 1830- "The Old Bailey Proceedings" 934. MARY PORTER was indicted for stealing, on the 12th of April, 60 yards of calico, value 30s., the goods of John Hughes. JOHN HUGHES. I am a linen-draper , and live in Chiswell-street . On the 12th of April the prisoner took this calico, which was laying inside my door; I followed her, brought her back, and took it from her. JOHN KELLY. I took the prisoner and have the property. (Property produced and sworn to.) GUILTY. Aged 39. - Transported for Seven Years. 1861 - DIED; At New Norfolk Asylum. 24 April 1861 1835 - Australia Convict Musters, Tasmania. No; 74.
