Built 1834 at Calcutta. Wood ship of 684 Tons. The 1847/48 voyage sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) BUT also went on to Port Phillip Bay, Victoria where 300 exiles disembarked. (The newspaper source says they were from Millbank, Pentonville & Parkhurst prisons.)

** 2 BY SAME NAME ON BOARD ** Place of origin: Kidderminster, Worcestershire Offence; Stealing a weaver's shuttle, Aged; 18 years old No; 16517 TRIAL; 8 March 1845 DEATH; 19 December 1851. Aged; 24 years old. EXECUTED HOBART. S U P R E M E C O U R T . CRIMINAL SITTINGS. (Before his Honor Mr. Justice Home) FBIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 1851. J. A. Moore, William Porter, and Felix Tiernry, prisoners of the crown, were indicted with violent assault, and robbery to the value of £i and odd, on the person of one Mr. Andrews, on the night of the 25th October last, the prisoners being then armed with a pistol, the butt-end of which was used in drawing blood from prosecutor's heed. The sentence of death was passed upon Porter, without any hope of mercy.
