John Post was born was born in 1808 Kent, he was the son of John Post Snr., who arrived per 'Henry' in 1823. On arrival John Jnr. was assigned to Samuel Drew at Patrick Plains. 1836: TOL Camden 24/7/1839: Married Bridget Carrick at Camden, NSW. They had 5 children listed on the NSW BDM. John 1842, William 1843, James 1845, Fabey 1850, Alfred 1854. 9/4/1842: TOL Picton Bench 1844: Recommended for a CP 1/2/1845: CP John's mother, Martha, and his siblings arrived per 'Borneo' in 1828 to join his father - they moved to Albury after John Snr. finished his sentence.
