The Convict Indentures state that David Power was 40 years old. He could neither read nor write: religion Catholic; status married with 3 children. He was a native of Waterford and could plough. He was convicted of horse stealing and sentenced at Waterford on 29 March 1828 to life. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes - Height 5 feet 3 inches; complexion ruddy; hair brown and eyes grey. Transport number 145. Assigned to Mr James McKenzie, Pitt Town.
