CITY OF WATERFORD QUARTER SESSIONS, (From the Waterford Mail.) These Sessions were held on Monday at ten o’clock, ... Most interest was excited at the expectation of the trial of the fellows for the robbery in Mr. Fogarty’s tan-yard, but they all pleaded guilty. Two of them Laurence Power and Thomas Colbert, were sentenced to transportation for 7 years, and Robert Laby (a young boy) to be imprisoned 2 years in the Penitentiary, and to be whipped 4 times in the first year. ...
