Death and Funeral: Carrick - On Monday, August 2, Mary Ann, the beloved sister of Mrs. Goodwin, after a long and painful illness, in the 32nd year of her age. Funeral will move from her sister's residence, Canterbury Inn, Elizabeth-street, THIS DAY, at 2 p.m., when friends are invited to attend. Mary Ann Price bore twin illegitimate children to an unnamed partner at Brickfields Nursery in Hobart in 1853. (RGD 1853/2516 and RGD 1853/2515) Both children died at Brickfield Nursery (RGD 1853/281 and RGD 1853/282). Mary Ann Price married fellow convict, William Carrick in Hobart in 1855 (RGD 1855/571). Date and place of her death is not known.
