Bedward of Welsh Pool; and … received sentence of death; Coventry Standard, 3 April 1809.  Samuel Price, the prisoner who was left under sentence of death at our Assizes for horse stealing—is reprieved. Shrewsbury Chronicle, 7 April 1809.
