Philip Ourridge, and William Price, have been committed to St. Augustine’s gaol, by J. Abbott, esq. charged the oath of Jesse Pilcher and others, with having late on Friday night, the I7lh day of April last,, or early on the following morning, feloniously stolen from out of held of the said Jesse Pilcher, in the parish of Cheriton, in this county, one fat wether sheep, the property of the said Jesse Pitcher. Kentish Weekly Post, 5 May 1812. DEATH.—Wm. Price, 28, for sheep stealing at Cheriton, the property of Jesse Pilcher, in company with with Philip escaped from gaol—... Kentish Gazette, 11 Aug 1812.  Early on Saturday morning were removed under a strong guard, from his Majesty's gaol, Maidstone, and put on board the Zealand hulk, at Sheerness, for transportation, the following male convicts, viz. - Price, George Davis, Wm Castledon, Wm Wise, John Seabrook, Richard Wise, Wm Streeton, George Turner, Henry Eldridge, Henry Merkins, Thomas Marlow, James Egau, Wm Brigual, John Wingafe, Joseph Price, and John. Batt.  Kentish Gazette, 4 Sept 1812.
